FIS Referral Partner Program is designed to help you strengthen your merchant relationships by providing flexible, easy-to-manage and profitable payment processing options for your customers. Your organization is completely free of any liability, expenses, or day-to-day responsibilities for supporting these merchant accounts. Simply refer merchants to FIS and we handle everything else. In return, you receive an on-going non-interest income stream.

Solid recurring revenue stream

  • Collect up-front payment for new accounts generated
  • Receive monthly residual revenue stream via ACH, based on merchants’ bank card activity

Full-service sales and support

  • Account entry and maintenance
  • Vendor relations
  • Detailed underwriting services
  • All-inclusive sales support
  • Notification of new merchant enrollment within 48 hours of completed application submission

Referral Partnership terms

  • Referral Partner will refer existing merchants or merchant prospects to FIS in exchange for a mutually-agreed upon compensation amount.
  • FIS owns the merchant account and holds the liability for merchant losses.
  • FIS supports the merchant from beginning to end, including processing, underwriting, support and education.
  • FIS is responsible for all compliance and regulatory issues.
  • FIS provides a revenue share to you.

Referral Partner responsibilities

  • Refer merchants to FIS.
  • Financial Institution is relieved completely of any liability, expenses, or day-to-day responsibilities for supporting merchant accounts.

FIS responsibilities for Referral Partner

  • FIS is responsible for all compliance and regulatory issues.
  • FIS owns the merchant account and holds the liability for merchant losses.
  • FIS supports the merchant from beginning to end, including processing, underwriting, support and education.
  • FIS is responsible for all compliance and regulatory issues.
  • FIS provides a revenue share to you.
  • Provide Customer Service Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-8:00 PM EST
  • Provide Technical Support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
